Continuing Professional Development

This continuing professional development course has been developed with reference to the Dental Board of Australia Continuing Professional Development registration standard. This course assists practitioners to recognise and apply regulatory expectations for Continuing Professional Development participation and documentation in an interactive and engaging format. After completing this course, participants can expect that they will be able to:

• Recognise the responsibilities of dental practitioners undertaking CPD within a registration cycle in order to remain registered with the Dental Board of Australia

• Identify how CPD is categorised

• Distinguish the features of good and poor CPD

• Recognise how to record CPD activities
